Hi lettering friend! I’m Shelly Kim, a full-time lettering artist, educator, and your creative bestie :)💖
When I first started lettering, I had no idea what I was doing... I picked up a brush pen and wondered, “How do people make their letters look like that?” 😅
I spent years learning through trial and error before realizing that beautiful lettering isn’t about perfect handwriting or natural talent. It’s about learning the right foundations and building confidence step by step.
That little hobby opened the door to a creative world I never imagined, leading to collaborations with brands like Michaels, Sizzix and Mixbook, publishing my lettering book & teaching thousands of students 🥹
Now, I love helping beginners discover their creativity and create lettering they’re proud of 💗
